Garlic Bread

The other night, I had a rather interesting dream. I say it was interesting, because, well, it revolved, mostly, around garlic bread, and how much I like garlic bread.

To help you better understand why I had such a random dream (besides that fact that I am a crazy lunatic) I will give you a glimpse at that week, coming up to the night I had the dream. That night, I went to Olive Garden for dinner- and I love their breadsticks. I wouldn't call it garlic bread, but it gets me thinking about garlic bread. While eating a breadstick, I thought about how good they would taste if they were drenched in butter, and maybe some garlic. The next day, I ate Subway for lunch, and I remember wondering if garlic bread would taste good instead of the bread I usually choose. I also thought about how it seems kind of weird to put vinegar and olive oil on your sandwich, even though I always do. The following night, we had shrimp scampi for dinner, which is basically shrimp in a garlic-butter mixture (with some other spices). I offered some to my cat, and my mom warned me that he would have garlic breath. Now, put all those details together, and somehow, I came up with this dream.

I was with some acquaintances, when I decided I wanted to make some garlic bread. So I went into the kitchen, prepared some butter... drizzled it over the bread, then started sprinkling spices on the bread... when my friend tells me she doesn't like garlic or butter on her bread. She said I should put vinegar and olive oil on the bread instead. I was thinking, “Vinegar..? That doesn't sound right.” But I did not doubt the reality of the situation (ie I did not stop to think I might be dreaming) but just continued to make the bread, because I really wanted some garlic bread. I said I thought the garlic and butter tasted good, and stood up for my food. My friend started to warn me, that I would get garlic breath if I ate the bread. She kept insisting that she hated garlic and butter on her bread, but I kept making the bread, because I was determined to have my garlic bread. Eventually, my bread was finished, but I think that's where my dream finished.

This dream goes to show that with determination, you can do anything. Even make garlic bread. And that everyday things you do may affect how you dream.

This was the narrative essay I had to write for school. I figured, hey! It doubles as a blogpost, so why not? Hope you enjoyed it...if you read it ;)

My cat

Hey y'all...pray for me
We ended up having to put Meowser down today...
It hasn't quite sunk in yet.. I guess that's just because of all the grief... it is pretty wierd to look at all the pictures and everything on the internet.. and in my room.. and just all the things we had for our cat.. even some of my passwords had his name...
He was 18..older than me... never known life without that cat...
Anyways..didn't mean to put a downer on y'all.. just gotta get it out, I guess... he was kinda like a little brother to me :) I know it seems silly to feel that way about a cat...
Hope y'all are having a good week

August 12

Wow. I haven't posted on here since August 12th! Sorry peoples! Well.. if anyone still reads this anyways, it seems to have become a ghost town.
Where have I been all this time? How could I get by without venting my thoughts on the internet? How could I desert you? Well, the truth is, I, erm... turned to the dark side, that being... (dun dun dun) MYSPACE... Yes.. I have turned aside from my old ways...
Anyways... a LOT has gone on since then... this week, Christmas decorations... as far as holiday festivities go:
I've already bought mostly all my Christmas gifts (actually I had most of them bought BEFORE Thanksgiving) I was getting into the holiday spirit about 2-3 weeks before Thanksgiving, lol.. I'm loving the Christmas music on the radio.. we got our family tree up yesterday, I got all my decorations up today... seeing as up until last night, for about a month, my floor was covered, more than a foot thick (I'm not kidding. You might find a rare sighting of the floor, but it was A FOOT THICK in most places) with...stuff. Papers, books, bags, clothes, more clothes, a suitcase, basket, pillows, blankets, socks, you name it, it was on my floor. Oh, and did I mention I happened upon 4 cans of Dr Pepper whilst cleaning out my room... or the piles of candy... or the games... or the popcorn... yes my room was a DISASTER... ever since I got back from Mexico.. actually, that would make it more like 2 or 3 months with my room a mess. I 'cleaned' it once during that time... and that was mostly just piling everything on my top bunk and making it look like it was clean :P Anyways... now it's about cleaned up, thank goodness. So that is why I could not put up my decorations until last night. Otherwise I would've, believe me, I was really in the Christmas spirit :P Oh, and I saw the Nativity Story tonight, that was pretty good.
What else, what else.. well.. we went to my grandparents in MO for Thanksgiving... and for my grandpa's 75th birthday.. that was nice and quiet... my cat is sick... :( :( :( we give him medicine every day.. he hates it... he hated my grandparents farm, he wouldn't eat (he isn't eating much anyways) (yes we took him up thanksgiving) I think he mostly hated being out on the lonely, cold, back porch... near the doggy.. and this time, he can't get under the floor.. the past times, when we went up there, he would always get under the floor... but grandma put a board over the whole so he wouldn't go down there. So he was depressed the whole trip.. poor cat... he's eating more now, but he's lost a lot of weight...mom took him to the vet again today, and the vet basically said he doesn't have much longer with us... I love my kitty cat though :)(:
What else... oh I lost my whole winter wardrobe somehow.. I put it in our storage shed, in a bag, and when I endeavoured to seek it out again a few weeks ago, it was gone... I managed to basically buy everything I needed for under $5... at the thrift store my grandma volunteers at... all the shirts are turtlenecks, but oh well.. it's better than nothing :)(:
Anyways... I better go... I want to try to finish up school tonight, and seeing as it's already 10:30, I better get started... love y'all..
Merry Christmas!

Create New Post

Ah.. I hadn't seen those words in so long... until now! Everybody's probably left reading my blog to the meeses by now... so that means I can say whatever I want, right? Yay!!!!!!!
Since nobody is reading this:
The sky IS green. It is I tell you again and again the sky is green. Not just green though. Neon lime green. Or maybe neon purple green. There is such a color as neon purple green because I say there is and nobody can refute me! Ah hah hah! (that's supposed to be like an evil naninanibooboo sort of laugh)
Meeses, you shall not refute me. And you can't read. Why I am even talking to you..hum..that's a good question.
Wendy's has vanilla frosties. Also dirt flavored frosties that are so yummy because I SAY they have yummy dirt frosties. Just don't come in and ask for them because they're..um... out of stock! yah. And the dirt machine doesn't work. (we have to make our own dirt. they cut off our fingers if we do something wrong and put them in, and somehow dirt comes out.)
Bethany really should be going to bed now instead of talking to the computer screen. And the meeses. (don't forget the meeses Bethany! the meeses! the meeses!)
Well.. I will tell you what I've been up to anyways.
Talent night tomorrow night in which I will show my awesomely cool coffee video (starring coffee, and I costar in it. but coffee reigns supreme) and...umm.
Yes umm. Because it is an awesomely cool word and the most useful word in the dictionary (yes it's in the dictionary because I say it is, it's just invisible-you can't see it. It's ultraviole-n-t)
Also been working, abviously (yes that word starts with an a. So there. Hah.) umm.
What else...well...church... and school starts for me on the 28th... found a new piano teacher...umm.
My school schedule looks like this:
Monday: sewing
Tuesday: art/karate/bsf
Wednesday: piano/church
Thursday: science
Friday: nothing set

And work somewhere in between there....
What else what else... coffee and frosty is goood... vanilla coffee frosty is okay, but the chocolate frosty with coffee is gooooooood....yesss... my employers/coworkers have discovered my coffee obsession. But the coffee machine is out of commission for now. So sad. It got broken or something though.
I tried a cool soda mixture today: Mostly sprite, also orange soda, Hi-C fruit punch, and lemonade. Twas very good. Quite refreshing.
Also got free fries to eat on the way home (which was like 12:45 at night, that's becoming a normal drive for me)
I'm always tired now... but I was quite refreshed at work today, since I got 3 days off. Yay.
Well I need to go now, but why does that matter? French fries taste like apples. So there.
Hm, french fries in apple dippin' sauce might taste good...

Paintings =D

Hey y'all!
If you're reading this than chances are: You just came to my blog! Yay! Lol. If you aren't reading this than you need to check my blog more often :P But you have to be reading this to even know what I'm saying. Unless some wierd hobo from Alabama is posting my blog posts somewhere else on the net. Which would be quite wierd.
What's up with me: I told you I got a job at Wendy's, right? And...umm.. I've been painting puppy dogs lately. Here they are:

This was my first puppy- it was supposed to be a samoyed. Personally, I don't think it looks like a samoyed. It's fur sticks out too much. But oh well...

Here's my cocker spaniel... I really liked this one at the time, but as of last night I have a new favorite- my pretty puppy. It's the last puppy. But I still really like this one.

My secret agent golden retriever =D At first, it was just like a gentleman sort of dog. But then I filled in it's eyes with black, and it looked like sunglasses. So I decided to make it a secret agent. Or maybe it's more of a detective, like a Sherlock Holmes sort of dog. Maybe I'll name it- Surepaws Holmes. Yepyep.

This is my pretty puppy! I love my pretty puppy!!!!!! She's not finished yet. It's an Irish Setter. I have now fallen in love with Irish Setters as a breed :D I don't know what they're temperment is, or if they would make great pets (I've always thought of them as quiet, friendly dogs, but I don't think I've ever really met one in person, so I wouldn't know) but I really like them.. they are so prettiful! I also am a fan of spaniels, but I really like the Irish Setter =D

I still haven't named my puppies! I should do that! Lol.. how about vanilla, chocolate, caramel, and milk dud :D Yepyep.. thus they have been named. =D But I still call the last one my pretty puppy. I'm gonna enter her into the state fair.

Oh, for those who do not know, or have lost the link, and want to see more of my art, here's the link to my art gallery: Bethany's Art Gallery
It's also in my sidebar, under 'Webfooted-Master's Links', if you need it again.
I need to update it somemore.. I still have some paintings I haven't put up there since last December.. however my puppies are up there.
Anyways.. oh! I'm leaving next Monday for a family reunion in Kentucky... don't know how much I will be checking my email there.
Don't know if anyone is even reading this thing anymore.. but if you are, Jesus loves you! Jesus loves you if you aren't, too. Super chocolate fun and cheese for everyone who still reads this! :P

Love ya lots!

Camp!

Yo wad up my peeple types!
Lol, just kidding, I'm not going retro :P Or whatever you call that. Homie-g-talking. Nope. No Homie-g-talking for Miss
Wait, not your name.. my name.. I'm confusing myself...
But! I! Have! To! Talk! About! CAMPO!! Now! Yes campo. Typo. Campo. Typo.
I like extremely short sentences. They. Are. Fun. And. Annoying.
But ANYWAYS!! I went to camp last week! I had a blast! You must know by now how much I love lists. So here's some of the great things about last week:
1. I laughed SO HARD!!! Rachel (yes, there is another coffee-hyper Rachel) had coffee, and she got really funny when we were in our dorm one night. Well, when I was in my friend's dorm. She came over, and shared her coffee-inspired-hyper-almost-drunkness with us :D And it was so funny... Sunday after we came back, me and my brother were still laughing over stuff that had happened at camp, or on the bus. A lot of stuff that Jared did- he really made us laugh a LOT!!! All Sunday long we were like "Oh yah! And Jared did that!" lol! For instance the chew marks on the cd case. He likes chewing things, heehee... and another winner for being hilarious would have to be Isaac with his dance- he seemed to have a lot of fun!

2. Coffee! I already mentioned Rachel and her coffee, but I have not yet told you of my coffee story! I had coffee, for the FIRST TIME (well, basically, the other times don't count because I didn't like coffee then) un-mixed. Yep. That's what I call straight coffee. Even though it had 4 PACKETS OF SUGAR in it.. yesss... I got REEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLY super mega hyper. Just ask my youth group. Really hyper. Like more-than-Bethany's-ever-been-before-hyper. I want coffee now :D But it was great.. and of course I had french vanilla cream in it too... And the other coffee related thing that I need to share is my analogy. Ok, so I will use a list again (yes, a list within a list! Only possible via Bethany's list Inc.!) to show this analogy.
Coffee changed my life (oh yes!)
Coffee has healing powers
Coffee is intoxicating :D
Coffee made me want to tell everyone about it
Coffee excited me, especially the first time I tried it unmixed.

Now, this is what I compare it to:
Jesus love changed my life.
Jesus love has healing powers.
Jesus love is intoxicating.
Jesus love makes me (and it should even moreso) want to tell everyone about Him
Jesus love excites me, and it really excites people who are experiencing it for the first time.

That was my coffee-Jesus epiphany. :D Or however you spell that word. I actually keep noticing more things about coffee that are similar to Jesus' love...

But anyways, back to the list.

3. Met new people, and got to know some people from my youth group better!

4. Saw at least 2 people (not from my youth group) who knew who I was. Maybe there was another one, I don't really remember though. Both were with FBC Aledo. (Jessica! One of your neighbors was there!)

5. I felt the comfort and peace of the Holy Spirit

6. I spent time at the PRAYER GARDEN!!! Oh yah! I love the prayer garden :D It's so awesome!

7. Lightsaber fought, just a little

8. PLAYED MESSY GAMES AND GOT EGGS IN MY HAIR AND WHIPPED CREAM IN MY FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And also had chocolate syrup coated marshmallows dropped on me, smushed my face into ketchup and mustard, rolled around in eggs, mustard, ketchup, and chocolate syrup, passed a bowl of tomato sauce over my head, and other things I do not remember.

9. Had breakfast every day! Aren't you proud of me? :D

10. Discovered my spiritual gifts: Exhortation, Mercy, and Faith

11. Saw Michael! YAY MICHAEL!!!! (lol, oh yah, he's my brother :D my bad :P)

12. Had an awesome group leader! He loved the Lord, but he was hyper and crazy at the same time! Kinda like me! I really identified well with him.

13. Played Duck Duck Goose a few times, in which I could be both duck and goose. Yes, someone named my duckie at camp. Because I was being a duck on fire at camp... just for camp! I am still a goose though! It was funny though, because in messy games, when we played duck duck goose, Wes (my youth group leader) tagged me, and said "MUDDY GOOSE!!!" as he did it :D

And the rest of these things, I will not try to remember right now.

Now, I have to tell you though, there was one thing I did the day before camp and the day after camp (today): Cooking. Cooking sweets. Now what does this tell you? A) I love cooking, and B) I love sweets :D But I probably didn't have to tell you either one of those, except maybe the cooking. But if you've been reading my blog for awhile, you probably remember the Christmas candy burn incident...eh heh heh... yah... that....*sweeps under rug* :P

And I got to hug Meowser again! I was so glad to hug my kitty tat again! I doowuv my wittoh titty tat!

But I shall be gone now, and let you get on with your day!

~Muddy Goose~

PS Pictures! I shall be getting them on Wednesday (hopefully) so I will post some here maybe later on this week.

Purple!

Jessica came over today :) We went to the Purple Cow! It was so much fun! I got a pic for my sweets scrapbook page :D A few actually. Yes, I'm devoting a whole page in my scrapbook to ice cream and candy and cookies. But this pic I'm posting is my favorite from today. :) Well, one of my two favorites. Aren't we adorable? :D I love my Jessica!! :D
The other favorite picture is the one where Jessica is pouring pepper into the water glass. Yep. Well, pretending to, I don't know if she actually did... Mike says 'no'. But it was funny. I'll put the other pic at the end of this post :)
Oh, I gotta go...but I'll ttyl! Thanks for reading!

:D Guess what I am!

...tired! Why do I always post when I'm tired?
I'm tired and sunburnt.. and they are linked, too... well yesterday I got a pretty bad burn on my shoulders and back... all over.. and so I couldn't go to sleep last night... I wanted to sleep on my side, but I couldn't, because it hurt my sunburnt shoulders... it hurt less when I laid on my back.. but it still hurt... so I don't really remember getting much sleep at all. Then my contact hurt at 7:20 or so this morning. So I had to take it out. I wanted to try to get at least a little bit of sleep before today, but it didn't really happen. So I am really tired.
Today, the girls came over for quilting, from 10 until 4.. very tiring.. but loads of fun! I'm beginning to see our quilts coming together.. tiz very cool!
And I leave for camp on Sunday. Fun fun. Verrry fun! Ish very excited... I want Sunday to come quicker! I can't wait to have a break from everything...
I took in about 7 applications last Wednesday.. as far as I know, I haven't gotten any call backs... but oh well.. I guess that means more applications, or call them.. but I don't feel like calling them :P Anyways...
I'm sure there are a lot of other things to say, but I'm tired... so I will let y'all get back to whatever you were doing before you came to my blog :D
If you aren't busy, I'd love a holler(sp?).. but you don't have to :)
Oh, I finally chose my real favorite verse. Tiz 1 John 4:16, in the NIV version. It sums it up more, and thus is shorter :P But I think I does a pretty good job of tying the points in the verse together... but here it is, in case you don't own a Bible :P

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:16 NIV

And my other favorite verse.. the one that's not as.. theological, lol...

Eat honey, my son, for it is good;
honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.
Proverbs 24:13 NIV

Yesss... that is a GREAT verse :P Justification for hyperness, lol :D

"Jimmy! Put that honey down!!"
"But Moooom... God told me to do it!" :D :D :D

I am like mega ultra super tired.

Yah. Lock-in last night.. and haven't had a lick o' sleep since.. I woke up yesterday morning... maybe 10ish... and I probably went to sleep around 1ish...maybe before, maybe after...
Yah.. first I'll tell you what I did at the lock-in, then I'm going to go away. Probably sleep :P
1. Made a shirt/jersey/chainmail/whatever-you-want-to-call-it completely out of Duck tape. Yesss. Zee awesomeness.
2. Painted/markered/doctored 3 shirts, red, black, and white, for camp.
3. Drank soda and lemonade.
4. WAS VERY HYPER!!!!!!!!!!!
5. Drifted between feeling like dropping to the floor out of exhaustion, and running around like a crazy maniac monkey.
6. Played Pickle Ball. (actually, I think it's picco-ball, but whatever, same difference..)
7. Hugged people. Lots of people.
8. Lightsaber fought!
9. Ate one dorito. I think it was just one. I might be wrong though.
10. Played an amazing-race-type-game. And won. And, amazingly, Mike, Stephen and I, by random drawing out of a hat, were on a team! So wierd!
Anyways..more later... yay for coffee and the mall and JESSICA!!! ...whom I saw yesterday at the mall. Actually met would be a better word. But I don't care. Because I have lack-of-sleep-exhaustion-syndrome. Yep. LOSES. Wieeerd....
So yah. Bye now.

Thursday, May 25, 2006

I am still tired.

But it's a rather good sort of tired... just got through 6 hours of sewing with my gal pals an hour or two ago...
AND I GOT DONE WITH SCHOOL YESTERDAY!!!
And I accomplished a lot today in quilting...
And... there have been rare sightings of floor :D Actually, I cleaned my room yesterday. It's so nice and clean and pertiful! It's nice to be able to walk around and not step on clothes and books and whatnot :P
It was so nice today.. so different.. mom left to drop mike off at karate, and she didn't give me ANY obligations to do while she was gone! She almost always says something like, "You need to do school work and STAY OFF THE COMPUTER while I'm gone." or "I want you to clean your room before I get back." or "You need to do the dishes, clean the kitchen, straighten up the living room, etc.." and today... there was nothing! It feels really great to have everything done!
Anyways.. I'm gonna go eat.. so I'll ttyl!
Hope you are having a sunniful day!

I am tired.

I got up at..oh.. 9 or so this morning, and I was up... checked my email.. then I was watching a Star Wars commentary with Mike and fell asleep.. I slept until at least 12:30... and I'm still tired...
Well, just 2 more essays until summer. It was 3, but I got 1 done just a little bit ago. Here's some things I want to do, once I finish the essays:
PAINT!! I want to expirement with paints and try out some projects that I hope to teach in summer art workshops..maybe...
Clean my room. I'm not sure if there's any patches of floor in there.. I haven't seen them lately.. literally.. cloooothes all over the floor... and other stuff...books... micellaneous things.. but mostly clothes. I need to clean my room before Thursday, for I shall be starting a friendship quilt with some friends of mine on Thursday...
Work. Or put in applications. I actually had an interview at McDonalds last Sunday... (a week ago Sunday) and she said they could probably really use me, but she hasn't called me back...my ideal job would be... Braums, Dairy Queen, Sonic, or Starbucks :D
Lol, sleep. Actually go to sleep on time, instead of after midnight... but I don't know if that's going to happen, since my parents usually stay up and watch tv... but they're getting better about it.
Plan a pool party!
Plan plan plan things. I have discovered that I love planning things. Pool Party, quilt thingy, art workshops... YAY FOR PLANNING THINGS!!!!
And I'm sure there were a ton of other things on my list... like get together with friends! Yay! And the lock-in on Friday-Saturday! Yay!
So I'll ttyl... hopefully I can get those essays done today! Chow :P
Have fun y'all...

Bible Verse Post Edit

Or, BVPE for short :P
First of all, my new favorite verse is NOT Proverbs 24:15. It's Proverbs 24:13. Sorry about that ;) But do, by all means, check out Proverbs 24:13. Lol... if you read that... verse 15... you were probably thinking... "What? Why is that Bethany's favorite verse?" But you shall see why verse 13 is my favorite ;)
There were some other things I had to say that I will add to this post later...

WHAT?????

Oh my gosh... just finished watching American Idol... AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just can't believe it! They voted Chris off! He was TOTALLY the best one on there... everyone whom I've talked to agrees... Chris shoulda won it! I was talking to a friend on Monday, we were both surprised that Paris was voted off... especially before Taylor and Elliot...
That is so wrong! Lol... I guess I'm just too into that show... :P
Anyways... that's my rant... yah... Chris should've won... the whole thing... he was the best...
CHRIS SHOULDA WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*stops ranting*
Lol...anyways... I have 2 posts, and the second is probably (definitely) more beneficial than this one... so be sure to read it!
Taylor and Elliot don't deserve to be on American Idol!!!!
*now be's quiet*
~Miss Goose~
...who thought Chris was the next American Idol... with a vengeance :P lol.. jk...

Beware...

This postie is full of Bible verses! :P

I decided to post a reading list ;)
There are a few different subjects included in this reading list:
Music (I apply it to CCM, worship, Christian, hymns, whatever you call that genre),
What some may call a 'personal relationship with Jesus Christ' but I choose to call 'Living in the love of Jesus Christ', there are some miscellaneous type verses that I included in here that I consider a part of the 'walk with God', and none of these things are necessary for salvation, IMHO, but are very helpful in finding life and love in Jesus Christ
Denominations-or divisions in the church, why I do not like denominations
And finally, Baptism.

These are just verses I found on the subject and have collected into my 'reading list' :P
But first of all, I urge you all to read Romans 14, it is an EXCELLENT chapter regarding judgement, legalism, hypocrisy, etc. Grace and Peace, enjoy the reading list :) It's from the only perfect book out there ;)

Music:
Psalms 95:1-2, 6
Psalms 96: 1
Psalms 98: 4-6
Psalms 100:1
Psalms 144:9
Psalms 145:7
Psalms 149:1,3
Psalms 150:3-6
Isaiah 61:10-11
1 Corinthians 8:9

And finally, Psalms 1 applies, though it doesn't directly refer to music.

Next up, Living in God's love, walking with God in your life, (He is my Emmanuel!!!) or what some may call a 'Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ':

First up, the 'drawing near or close to God' verses:
Deuteronomy 4:7
Hebrews 7:19, 10:1
James 4:8

Seeking God: 2 Chronicles 15:2, Psalm 105:4
Knowing God: John 14:7,9 1 John 2:3-4, 4:8
Abiding in God, and God abiding in us: John 14:3, 2 Corinthians 6:15-18, 2 Timothy 4:22,
1 John 3:6, 2:5-6

Fellowship with God: Philemon v.6, 1 John 1:3,6
God is our Friend! (praise Jesus!): John 15:13-16
God is our comfort: Jeremiah 31:13, 2 Corinthians 7:6

Worshiping God in everything we do: 1 Corinthians 9:23, 10:31, Phillipians 4:8, Collosians 3:17, 23, 1 Peter 4:11

God's guidance: Proverbs 21:1, Jeremiah 29:11-13, 33:3, Romans 8:14, 1 Corinthians 14:15, 2 Corinthians 2:14,

And the miscellaneous verses regarding God's place in our life: Job 7:17-18, 1 Timothy 2:5, 2 Timothy 3:12, 4:17-18

Now, the denominations list:
Romans 8:37-39, 12:9-13, 16, CHAPTER 14!!!, 15:7
1 Corinthians 1:12-13, 17-18, 21, 23, 2:2, 5, 11, 3:18, 4:4-5, 18, 8:1-3
2 Corinthians 2:17, 11:3-4

I especially reccomend Romans 14, and 1 Corinthians 2:5.

And finally, baptism. I've just started this list.. so there aren't many verses on there. I'm pretty sure there's a verse likening baptism to circumcision, which is why I put the passage about circumsicion up there, but I couldn't find the verse.
Baptism:
Romans 2:11
1 Corinthians 1:17, 3:11, 7:17-20

Like I said, still working on that list ;)

And now, to reveal my new favorite verse :D to the world:
Proverbs 24:15

If you don't read this whole list of verses (I know, it's pretty long) than at least read Romans 14, 1 Corinthians 2:5, and Proverbs 24:15. There really awesome. To me, anyways.

Grace and Peace!

I'm not dead!

...haha...but close to it, perhaps ;)
I just saw that I hadn't put up a postie in...a month...or so...so here ya go :P
Betania didst not finish school on time. She's working on it this week. Math, spanish, essays... I have left: 6 math lessons, 4 essays, and 12 Spanish lessons, all together, to finish up school. If I can just stick to my newly regimented schedule (I created a very regimented hour by hour type schedule...) than perhaps I can finish by the end of the week.
Let's see... since I last posted... I had a piano recital, got a cell phone, and...lots of other stuff...
This week... I have Piano Guild, regular stuff, youth night...car wash on Saturday...umm... and hopefully school will end... soon... I'm about squished by stress :P
Well... I'm kinda not in the best mood today, don't know why... just rather pessimistic.. lol, like my last post... but not as bad :P I think I'm probably just tired, and haven't had enough candy ;)
Most stuff is ending soon- yay! Hopefully I'll have at least a week or two to just chill out... and do nothing :P before I get a job... and start studying for the PSAT... and all kinds of other summer activities...
And next school year won't be any better...

In other news, I finally decided on a color for my prom dress! Well.. first of all.. I don't remember if I blogged about it, but I'm going to be making my prom dress in sewing next year, hopefully. My mom and I have had some little tizzies over color, and style... she has a very formal looking dress in mind, and mine looks more... well.. dainty-ish and prettiful... flowy... but we finally found something we both like. I'm going to do two layers... the first layer is going to be bright pink (fear not, this will not show as bright pink :P) and the second layer will be sheer black... and it will cover the pink... so it will be a sort of burgundy. I'm thinking about embroidering some little pink daisies on the sheer black with my sewing machine.. Oh! and the dress will be with straps, but I'm going to make a shrug to go with it... out of the black sheer... so anyways... that was probably rather boring to some, but it's happy news to me :P I had thought about sooo many colors... dark purple, plum purple, pink, dark green, peach, red, burgundy, even black...and then I saw this idea... yayness!
I drew it out... not that y'allses would want to see it :P
Oh! In other news... my youth group is making a new youth tshirt, and they voted, and chose my design! Ish was happy...
I've been so tired lately, I really need to get more sleep... that's definitely something I'm going to be doing once I plow through the pile of schoolwork...
So yah... comment if you want to :)

I don't exist. It's all in your head.

Bethany's a cranky banana. She'll talk more later. When she's uncranked.
Pray for Bethany to be diligent and get all of her school done before tomorrow. She has 2 essays, 12 Spanish lessons, 4 math lessons, 10 chapters in the Silver Chair, 5 chapters in Silas Marner..all before tomorrow... and she's determined! But doing math all day could perhaps have made her cranky. That, or that the fact that she has pretty much only eaten candy today(which is good, except she hasn't eaten any thought-producing food and her brain hurts from trying to think to hard), and hasn't gotten much sleep lately, and has been going through emotional battles recently. But the bottom line is, Bethany is cranky. And she's not going to talk right now.

Bethany prevails as a pessimist today. Woopee. But perhaps the optimist Bethany will be back this weekend. Perhaps. But not likely. (remember, I'm still in pessimist mode... things *could* change, but I'm not going to fullheartedly admit that they could change.)
Now Bethany has to go away and finish eating her blue raspberry sucker. She hates blue raspberry. (ok, so I don't *hate* it.. I mean hey, it's candy :P) And do more math. Oh joy. (Bethany! you love math! says the optimist but the pessimist is prevailing...)
Bethany isn't multiple personality. She just makes herself think she is :P
I don't exist. You're schizophrenic.

Thank you for reading, though you probably aren't reading anyways (Eeyore imitation)

And now to start typing like a mad maniac monkey...cuz' I've got a lot to say! And you've got a lot to read! Doesn't that make you soooo happy? :D
Gah! No text editing! No colors, or sizes, or hyperlinks!! I miss firefox...suffering from firefox withdrawal..or however you spell that word...
Happy Easter to you all!
And now, for the message I have prepared for you.
Yo, wad up peeps...
...
...
PEEPS!!!!!!!
Speaking of peeps, this is my announcement to the world...
The Peep War now has itself a place on the net...
Which means... I can now be a part of it again! I can now be a part of a war that I assisted in starting...
Yess....
Perhaps this means I can get my old job back as commander in chief of the Peep Savers...since I can now actually uphold that job again...
And now, for the dreaded link...

In other news...
Thursday we drove to MO. That's where we are now, of course, enjoying Easter... I had a 'do-nothing' sort of day yesterday... it was soooo nice... I REALLY needed it... and today will be the same sort of day... it's nice to be rested up- especially since school is ending soon (May 5th or so)
Things I did while in the car:
*Read the Bible (my all-time favorite)
*Listened to Veggie Rocks (I love Track 4!! -In the Belly-)
*Listened to Wayne Jacobson (He's so awesome! Check him out!)
*Drove all of Oklahoma (a good 4 hours, at least)
*DRANK COFFEE!!!! Frappacino, of course (my all-time second favorite)
*Petted, watched, and listened to Meowser
*Ate ice cream, chips, and candy, and drank soda!
...and lots of other stuff...

So that was Thursday. Yesterday, I...had...oh yes! I had pigs in the blanket for breakfast...we went into town..I drove..my car! yes... my car...well actually it's mine and my bros... but my grandparents gave it to us, for us to drive until we save money for our own car... I really like it... and even though they don't read this... THANK YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA!!! :D Tiz a burgundy and white Buick...yayness! I actually get my own set of car keys! Well..actually.. I'm the only one who has a set of keys, at the moment...
And today we went through clothes... lots and lots and LOTS of clothes... there was some pretty cute stuff in there, though... like this reaaaallly cute dress... it's black, with a) sheer material, b) SPARKLYS!! c) daisies (they're red) and did I mention sheer material? :D I love sheer material...as an overlay, of course..but..yah..I really like the dress...the only thing is, it's sleeveless and one of the strap needs fixing...but hey, that's stuff you can change with a little thread and a shawl/jacket...
And I also found a pair of velvet pants..which I actually *like*.. I'm not that into velvet, but I do like it on dresses... and these are more like workout pants anyways.. well I dunno, I guess they are dress pants..but.. they were comfy.. so I decided to keep them...
Oh, for those who don't know.. every time I go up to my grandparents, grandma gives us BAGS (as in, about, 7 or 8) big ones, too, of clothes to sort through. They're from the thrift store she volunteers at. I think that's where I got my favorite hoody- Tigger, of course- from... yess... there can be some pretty nifty stuff in there. And then there's other stuff...that my mom and grandma convince me that I want... and then I get home and find a closet and dresser full of clothes... and it ends up going back to a thrift store... but hey, it's all worth it in the end... that cute black dress...yesss.....yesssssssssssss.... mi likkkeeeeessses it...
Ok I'm going to quit talking like Gollum now. Even though zee dress is so cute..mi precious... and I watched LOTR FotR last night.. and even though Grandma PASSED IT UP... how can you pass up LOTR?? Is it even physically possible? I guess Grandma overturned and defeated all the odds... and she passed it.. but then later, she had to go do something. My bro then had the remote, and I got it from him.. and I flipped as quick as I could through the channels.. and there it was. 15-30 minutes through, which wasn't *that* bad... the hobbits were in whats-his-name's corn field..
Let's see... what else... well in town yesterday I helped mom pick out Easter candy...fuuuun... caaaandyyy....GIVE ME THE CANDY!!!!
...so sad.. see my sad face... we have to wait for tomorrow to eat the candy.. but then again, I still have nerds and M & M's in my purse... haha.. I'm always armed with my ammo :P Eh, I mean candy, of course.
Right now.. looking for a Starbucks.. in MO... so we can stop on the way back.. seeing as we will be getting up at 6 tomorrow, for the Sunrise Service at my grandparents church.. I think we'll probably leave around 12 or 1, like always...looks like there's one in Joplin..
DibidibeedibidibeediThat's all folks!
